Cosmelan by Mesoesetetic® is renowned globally as a leading treatment program designed to brighten & even skin tone while preventing future pigmentation issues.
Its exclusive blend of active ingredients works within the melanocyte, inhibiting tyrosinase activation & reducing melanin production. This results in visibly clearer, brighter, & more radiant skin.
The comprehensive program includes an intensive in-clinic treatment followed by a tailored home skincare regimen to maintain & enhance results.

frequently asked questions
Cosmelan effectively treats various types of pigmentation caused by factors such as hormones, sun exposure, genetics, or scarring. It targets conditions like melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), & freckles (sun spots).
In the first few weeks after starting Cosmelan treatment, you may notice significant improvements in skin texture & a visible reduction in pigmentation. However, this initial improvement can sometimes give a false sense of success.
During this period, the Cosmelan treatment works by removing melanin from the outer layers of the skin, resulting in faded pigmentation & smoother, softer skin. However, the root cause of the pigmentation issue the uncontrolled production of melanin by melanocytes has not been fully addressed.
To effectively control this overproduction & prevent pigmentation from recurring, it is crucial to continue with a home treatment regimen that includes products designed to regulate melanin production. This ongoing care is essential to maintain & enhance the results achieved with the Cosmelan treatment.
If you neglect to follow the recommended home regimen, you risk interrupting the Cosmelan treatment & compromising your expected results. Failing to apply the Cosmelan 2 depigmenting cream, which regulates melanocyte activity, allows for uncontrolled & excessive melanin production. Consequently, pigmentation spots may reappear as the skin renews, with melanin migrating to the surface & making spots more visible over time.
Additionally, skipping applying sun protection with Melan 130 Pigment Control poses a high risk of pigmentation recurrence. Without adequate protection, the skin becomes more vulnerable to external aggressors during treatment, potentially leading to the reappearance of spots. Consistent adherence to the recommended homecare routine is essential for maintaining the effectiveness of the Cosmelan treatment & preventing pigmentary issues from returning.
After your professional in-clinic Cosmelan treatment, visible excess pigmentation can be significantly reduced. However, it's crucial to understand that pigmentation issues can recur due to underlying imbalances.
Therefore, it's essential to maintain a daily regimen of regulatory depigmentation treatment & consistent sun protection year-round, even when pigmentation spots are not visibly present. This proactive approach helps prevent the recurrence of pigmentation issues & supports long-term skin clarity & health.
