• A patch test for tinting/lifting procedures is required 24hrs prior to treatment if a first time appointment, or if it has been longer than 6 months since your last treatment, & also if your medical circumstances have changed. A patch test for waxing can be booked if you are concerned by skin sensitivity. Patch test can be applied on arm or back of neck & can be done during consultation.

  • If you wear contact lenses ensure they are removed & bring your glasses.

  • Avoid makeup at the time of your appointment.

  • Avoid unprotected UV (sun) exposure for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to treatment. Wear broad spectrum SPF 30+ (UVA/UVB) daily.

  • Discontinue using prescription vitamin A or high strength over the counter retinol 5 days before your treatment unless advised otherwise.

  • To make the treatment last longer, avoid using exfoliating, alpha hydroxyl & glycolic acid cleansers, which can strip the colour from your brow & lash tints.

  • For Lash tint/lift:  No lash extensions at the time of your appointment, if you arrive with lash extensions these will be removed prior to treatment. Extra time will need to be added to treatment & there is an additional charge to have removed. Please let the staff know when booking if extra time is required.

  • If you have any eye infections or irritations, we will need to wait until after the problem has cleared to perform any brow or lash treatments.

  • Do not get brows or eyelashes wet for 24 hours so that solution can fully develop. If they do get wet, the treatment will not reach full effect & can lose most or all of curl.

  • Do not exfoliate or use moisturisers or lotions, which are highly perfumed, or contain active ingredients such as retinol, glycolic acids & vitamin C. Instead please use bland product’s during the healing phase, or until your skin is no longer sensitive. Thereafter please use your prescribed skin care regime.

  • Wear broad spectrum SPF 30+ (UVA/UVB) daily & avoid unprotected UV exposure.

  • Avoid wearing make-up for 24hrs after your treatment, & do not use an eyelash curler.

  • Do not use strong makeup removers for 48hrs as they may strip the colour.

  • Avoid wearing contact lenses for 24hrs. If you have sensitive eyes, eye drops or saline solution can be applied after service.

  • Avoid heat-inducing activities & chlorinated water for 24-48hrs.

  • Do not rub or touch the treated area, if any irritation occurs: apply a clean cold wet pad to the eye area.

  • For Brow Wax: Do not pluck or tweeze in-between appointments particularly in areas where we have advised for re-growth.

  • For Lash Lift: Avoid sleeping on your side if possible. Because the lashes are still malleable, if you are a side or face sleeper, you may notice one, or both eyes, can raise or drop leaving the lashes disfigured. Sleeping on your back for the first night is recommended.

If you have any concerns with your treatment please contact immediately.
